Your drift pit, lot or intersection in Assetto Corsa
Draw an outline round a real place and Drift Maps builds everything inside it as an Assetto Corsa track: the pavement, the markings, the signals, poles and trees, on real elevation. It's priced by the size of your outline, from a $10 minimum, and installs in one click with Content Manager.
Intersections/Area builds are paused while we fix an issue with them. Area builds you already have still download from Your builds, and any area credit you hold is kept. Roads build as normal: open the road builder.
What it's for
- Drift pits and parking lots: the empty lot everyone slides in, built whole, kerb to kerb.
- Intersections: the junction and every road leaving it, not just one line through the middle.
- Blocks and small areas: a few streets at once, up to about 50 hectares.
For a long stretch of road, like a canyon run or a touge, use the road builder instead: drop a start and a finish pin and the route follows the real road.
How it works
- Open the builder and switch to Intersections/Area.
- Click the corners of the lot or intersection. The size and price show under the outline as you draw.
- Name it and pay. The build goes into the queue.
- Install it with one click in Content Manager when it's done. The link comes by email and sits in Your builds.
Places Google Street View covers come out best: signals, signs and pavement edges are read from it.
What it costs
| Outline size | Price |
|---|---|
| First 10 hectares | $5 a hectare |
| 10 to 30 hectares | $3 a hectare |
| Past 30 hectares | $1.50 a hectare |
Charged to the tenth of a hectare, with a $10 minimum and no subscription. A single intersection is usually $10–15. A hectare is 100 m × 100 m, about the size of a big supermarket car park.
FAQ
Can I turn a real parking lot into an Assetto Corsa map?
Yes. Switch the builder to Intersections/Area, click the corners of the lot and name it. Everything inside the outline is built from aerial imagery, real elevation and Street View.
How big an area can I build?
Intersections, lots and blocks up to about 50 hectares. Anything longer and thinner is a road: use the road builder.
What's the difference between a road build and an area build?
A road build follows one route from a start pin to a finish pin, priced by the km. An area build covers everything inside the outline you draw, priced by the hectare.
How do I install it?
One click with Content Manager, or by hand into content\tracks. See how to install custom tracks in Assetto Corsa.
Can I see places other people have built?
Yes. The road index lists every road and area we've shipped, by country.
