Effective date: September 30, 2026
1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how DRTAVIL LLC, doing business as Drift Maps ("Drift Maps," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the website located at driftmap.us, together with any related pages, features, content, applications, communications, and services that link to or reference this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you should not access or use the Services. This Policy does not apply to any third-party website, platform, or service that may be linked to or accessible through the Services, the privacy practices of which are governed by their respective policies.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal information, whether provided directly by you, collected automatically when you interact with the Services, or received from third parties:
- Identifiers and account information, including your email address and the credentials and records associated with your account.
- Transaction information, including records of the products and subscriptions you purchase. Payment card details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor and are not stored by us.
- User content, including roads, locations, and map selections you submit, build requests, generated tracks, and any content you post to community areas of the Services.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, including device and browser type, IP address and approximate location derived therefrom, pages viewed, interactions with the Services, referring URLs, and advertising campaign parameters and click identifiers associated with your visit.
3. How We Use Information
We may use the information described above for the following business and commercial purposes: (a) to provide, operate, maintain, and deliver the Services, including generating and delivering tracks; (b) to create and administer accounts and to process payments, refunds, and related transactions; (c) to communicate with you regarding your account, purchases, builds, and the Services; (d) to measure, analyze, and improve the Services and the effectiveness of our advertising; (e) to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity; and (f) to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, and accounting obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
4. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell personal information in exchange for monetary consideration. We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients, each of whom is permitted to process such information only as necessary to perform services on our behalf or as otherwise described herein: (a) service providers that provide hosting, database, authentication, payment processing, and email delivery services; (b) advertising and analytics partners, as described in Section 5; (c) competent authorities, courts, or other parties where we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Drift Maps, our users, or others; and (d) a successor entity in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
5. Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising
The Services use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies, some of which are placed by third parties. These technologies are used to keep you signed in, to attribute visits and purchases to the advertisements or links that referred them, and for analytics and advertising purposes.
Meta. We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates ("Meta"). These tools allow Meta to collect or receive information from the Services and elsewhere on the internet, including through cookies and similar technologies, and to use that information to provide measurement services and to target and deliver advertisements, including on Facebook and Instagram. When a purchase occurs, we may transmit to Meta a hashed (irreversibly scrambled) version of your email address and account identifier, together with browser information and Meta's own click and browser identifiers. You may manage or opt out of ad personalization through your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, or through the choices available at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
Microsoft Clarity. We partner with Microsoft Clarity and Microsoft Advertising to capture how you use and interact with the Services through behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, in order to improve the Services. Website usage data is captured using first-party and third-party cookies and other tracking technologies. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Doing so may affect certain functionality of the Services, including your ability to remain signed in.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including for so long as your account remains active, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When personal information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, including, where applicable, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and to opt out of the use of personal information for targeted advertising. To exercise any of these rights, contact us as set forth in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
8. Data Deletion Requests
To request deletion of your account and associated personal information, including any information we received through Facebook or Instagram, send an email to driftmaps7@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my data." We will confirm when the deletion has been completed, subject to any information we are required by law to retain.
9. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, and alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers and Children
We are based in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have data protection laws different from those of your jurisdiction. The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may amend this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where required by law or where the changes are material, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any amendment constitutes acknowledgment of the amended Policy.
